The Senior Private Wealth Advisory Market Leader co-leads a team of experienced Private Wealth professionals to provide tailored wealth management strategies. This includes investment management, private banking, trust, and estate, retirement, and financial planning services. The role involves coaching and partnering with various specialists while driving team success and brand influence.

The focus is on developing market growth strategies, collaborating across business lines, and delivering exceptional financial advisory services. This entails aligning behaviors to sales management processes, leveraging marketing campaigns, and enhancing client engagement.

This person will also be responsible for:

  • Co-lead a diverse team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional client service and achievement of business objectives.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and increase market share within private wealth management.

  • Foster upward migration of mass-affluent clients into Private Wealth and ensure proper client alignment.

  • Build strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and provide personalized wealth management solutions.

  • Recruit talent and serve as an ambassador for the wealth brand through community engagement.

  • Collaborate with banking leaders to identify clients for upselling into Private Wealth management.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for market-based team leaders and key clients.

  • Elevate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) behaviors and outcomes through coaching and guidance.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive wealth management strategies.

  • Provide matrix leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to client service and business development.

  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.

  • Monitor team performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.

  • Lead regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.

  • Demonstrate executive savvy in interpersonal relationships, communication, and board representation.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Economics or related field. Required

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field. Preferred

Experience

  • 12+ years of extensive financial services/wealth management, business development, and sales management experience in designated market(s). Required

  • 7-10 years of sales leadership experience required, with preferred background in managing full Wealth Advisory teams across wealth disciplines. Required

  • 7-10 years of in-depth knowledge and experience with investment products, financial planning strategies, and wealth management best practices, including regulatory and compliance requirements. Required
