Under the general supervision of the Manager, Student & Employer Relations, develops and sustains employment opportunities for current MATC students and alumni with employer and community organizations. Plans, coordinates and facilitates career fairs, career readiness workshops and career forums. Assists students within assigned pathways through career readiness appointments inclusive of resume review, mock interview, and job and internship search strategies. Work is diversified requiring knowledge of employment services and the use of judgment, analysis and decision making within established procedures. Communication is continuous between the division, school partners, employers, and community organizations.

Required Experience: Three (3) years of career services experience, preferably in an employment and training program; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Preferred Experience: Prefer more than three (3) years of relevant experience.Preferred License/Certification:CPR/First Aid Certification.
Start Date
This position reports to the Manager, Student & Employer Relations.
Hours
This position is a 1.0 FTE or 40 hours per work week. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8am - 4:30pm. Occasional evenings are required for campus open houses.
Salary
Salary is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is based on the 2023/2024 rates and are determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity.
